FAQ

Search this page for answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

Are walkers welcome?
Yes, we welcome both runners and walkers. We ask that walkers be able to finish the course in 4 hours if they’d like an official time.

Will there be a relay team option?
YES! We welcome relay teams. Relay teams may be 2, 3, or 4 person teams. Exchange stations will be approximately every 3.25 miles. Teams of fewer than 4 people may choose which stations to skip/use. The “baton” will be a bib chip belt that runners will exchange at specified stations. Race coordinators will shuttle relay participants to these stations. To be able to do this, relay teams must be fully checked in by 7:00am on race day.

What is included in the racer’s packet?
Racers will receive a bib number, tshirt, drawstring backpack, a variety of samples from local businesses, and upon finishing the race, a finisher’s medal.

What awards will be given?
First place awards will go to the overall first place adult male, overall first place adult female, and first place under 18 runner (these awards are based on gun start). The first place relay team will earn an award as well. All runners and walkers that finish the half marathon or the relay will receive a finisher’s medal.

Are t-shirts available for spectators and volunteers?
Yes! T-shirts will be on sale on race morning for $20. T-shirts are blue, cotton blend, unisex sizes, with our logo on the front. T-shirt sizes can be pre-requested through our Facebook page through June 20th, 2024. After that, sizes will be available on race morning on a first come, first served basis.

What time do volunteers or spectators need to arrive?
Volunteers, please arrive by 5:30am if you plan to assist with set up. If you are volunteering to monitor traffic or run a water station out on the course, please arrive by 6:45am.
Spectators are asked to be at the race location at 7:00am, if possible, to reduce the amount of traffic on the roads once the race has started. We anticipate that participants will be on the course from 7:30am-12:00pm.

Are there showers at the race location?
No. We do not have showers nor indoor bathrooms at the race location. Portable restrooms will be available at the finish/parking area as well as along the course.

Will vendors accept cards, or will cash be needed for the vendor booths?
Some of our vendors are able to accept cards, however, most of our options for purchase on race day will be cash only.

How will timing be done?
For 2024, we will be timing with Mtec Results. They will have all runners timed using a bib chip system. Awards will be based on gun start times, but all runners will be provided with chip timing to reflect their individual start and finish times. Relay teams will have one bib with the timing chip and will pass the bib (on a belt) as they move through the course.
